Tube Laser Cutting Services

CNC-controlled precision cutting for square, rectangular, round, and structural tube profiles. Processed in a single operation, bundled by part number, and delivered ready for assembly. Serving manufacturing OEMs, general contractors, and production teams across Southern California from our Riverside facility.

Overview

Single-Process Tube Fabrication That Replaces Sawing, Drilling, and Manual Layout

Traditional tube processing requires a sequence of disconnected steps. Saw cutting to length, transferring to a drill press, manually tapping holes, then deburring each piece. Every handoff introduces tolerance drift, scheduling delays, and labor cost. Our tube laser systems consolidate that entire sequence into one CNC-controlled operation. Material loads in raw, and finished components come off the machine cut to length, slotted, notched, drilled, tapped, and etched with your part numbers. No secondary handling required.

The result is a faster, more repeatable process that holds ±0.003" tolerances across production runs of any size. Whether you need 50 prototype brackets or 500,000 pounds of structural tube for a freeway infrastructure project, the output quality stays identical from the first piece to the last.

Challenges We Address

The Problems Tube Laser Cutting Solves

Multi-Step Bottlenecks Slowing Production

Your current process probably touches four or five machines before a tube component is finished. Saw, drill press, tapping station, deburr, maybe a notcher. Each step requires setup, fixturing, and a skilled operator. When volume spikes, these bottlenecks compound. Tube laser processing collapses that chain into a single load-and-run cycle.

Skilled Labor Shortages Driving Up Costs

Experienced welders and fabricators are harder to find every year, and the ones available command premium wages. A tube laser reduces your dependency on manual skill by moving precision from the operator's hands into the machine's CNC programming. Consistent output, regardless of who's running the shift.

Inconsistent Quality Across Vendors and Batches

When you're sourcing cut tube from multiple shops or relying on manual processes, part-to-part variation is inevitable. Holes drift, miters don't close cleanly, and your assembly team spends time fitting parts that should drop right in. CNC tube laser cutting eliminates that variance at the source.
Our Solutions

Precision CNC Tube Cutting

Every cut is programmed from your CAD files or shop drawings and executed with fiber laser accuracy. We process square, rectangular, round, oval, and structural profiles, cutting to length, mitering, coping, and beveling in a single pass. No manual layout. No tolerance stacking from multiple setups.

Integrated Slotting, Notching & Hole Cutting

Slots for retail fixture inserts. Baluster holes for railing systems. Mounting holes for OEM sub-assemblies. Our machines cut these features directly into the tube wall during the same operation that cuts the part to length. That eliminates drill presses, punch tooling, and the labor that goes with them.

CNC Tapping for Threaded Holes

Our high-end tapping arms handle thread sizes from 10-32 through 1/2-13 in both standard and metric. We've processed production runs exceeding 95,000 tapped holes in a single job. Threading happens inline with cutting. No secondary station, no additional handling.

Cut-and-Fold Tube Fabrication

For applications where welding adds unnecessary cost and time, our cut-and-fold process scores three sides of a tube so it folds into a clean 90° corner. Self-fixturing, no welder required. This technique produces dimensionally consistent frames, brackets, and enclosures that assemble faster than welded equivalents.

Part Identification & Assembly-Ready Packaging

Every job ships bundled and labeled by part number. We etch identifying marks directly onto the tube surface during processing. Your part numbers, assembly references, orientation indicators. Your receiving team or assembly crew knows exactly what each piece is and where it goes without referencing drawings.

Engineering Support & Shop Drawing Conversion

Many of our clients come to us with architectural drawings or concept sketches that aren't production-ready. We convert those documents into fully dimensioned shop drawings optimized for tube laser processing. We identify opportunities to reduce material waste, eliminate unnecessary welds, and simplify assembly sequences before a single tube is cut.
Why Partner With Blueline

A Fabrication Partner Built for Volume, Precision, and Deadline Pressure

Capacity for Landmark-Scale Projects

We've processed over one million pounds of steel for a single project. Our dual tube laser setup, a BODOR and an X Series machine, gives us the throughput to handle large infrastructure contracts, high-volume OEM production, and multi-phase construction timelines without subcontracting your work to a third party.

Single-Source Processing That Simplifies Your Supply Chain

Cutting, slotting, notching, drilling, tapping, part marking, and bundling. All under one roof. You eliminate the coordination overhead of managing three or four vendors for what should be one scope of work. One PO, one point of contact, one quality standard.

Responsive Turnaround From a Production-Ready Shop

Our machines have run 18-hour days during peak demand. When your timeline tightens, we have the equipment, the crew, and the raw material relationships to compress lead times without compromising cut quality or part accuracy.
